Terms of Service

Last updated 15 October 2026

About Jewellous

These terms govern use of the Jewellous e-commerce portal and purchases of bangles, fashion jewellery and accessories. Read these terms together with our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you agree to the terms shown at checkout, subject to applicable law.

Eligibility and account information

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract to place an order. Provide accurate contact, delivery and payment information. Keep account credentials secure and inform us of suspected misuse.

Products and sizing

Read the description, materials, dimensions, bangle size and care instructions before ordering. Products described as imitation, artificial, gold plated or silver polished are not solid precious metal unless expressly stated. Images aim to represent products accurately; small differences from photography or screen settings may occur. This does not excuse material differences or defects.

Prices and payments

Prices are displayed in Indian rupees. Applicable taxes, shipping and any additional charges are disclosed before order confirmation. Available payment options appear at checkout; prepaid orders require payment before dispatch. Cash on delivery is available only if offered at checkout. Price changes apply to future orders, not retrospectively to accepted orders.

Orders and availability

An order acknowledgment confirms receipt of your request. Acceptance is confirmed when we notify you that the order is accepted or dispatched. Orders depend on stock, serviceability and payment checks. If a genuine pricing or stock error prevents fulfilment, we will contact you for instructions or cancel and refund the amount collected. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

Shipping returns and cancellations

Processing and delivery estimates, tracking and failed-delivery arrangements appear in our Shipping Policy. Eligibility, claims, cancellations, return shipping and refund timelines appear in our Return and Refund Policy. These policies form part of these terms and cannot exclude statutory remedies.

Product use and care

Follow the product care instructions. Fashion jewellery may be affected by water, perfume, chemicals and rough handling. Stop wearing an item if irritation occurs. Normal wear and damage caused after delivery are assessed separately from manufacturing defects.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

Do not use the portal for fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorised access, malware or infringement of others’ rights. Jewellous branding, product content and site materials may not be copied for commercial use without permission or another lawful basis. Reviews must be truthful and must not disclose others’ personal information without permission.

Privacy and external services

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Payment, courier and other external services may have their own terms and privacy notices. Any third-party involvement does not remove Jewellous’s responsibilities to customers under applicable law.

Liability and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by law, Jewellous is not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any liability that cannot legally be excluded, or restricts mandatory consumer rights. There is no blanket waiver of remedies for defective goods or deficient service.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms prospectively and publish the revised date on this page. The terms accepted for an existing order continue to apply to that order unless a legal requirement dictates otherwise. Indian law applies. Disputes may be brought before courts or consumer commissions having jurisdiction under applicable law.
